Just like many people using koha, we stumbled over the zebra configuration problem. It took time. Finally, zebra server is indexing the library catalogue and search is working in the production environment of Koha!

Yes, I've been meaning to thank you for doing a great job on our website. I noticed how much work we (ie, you) did when I was going back over our correspondence. In the end, it turned out pretty much as you had originally suggested when we started out (ie, modular). It just took me some time to understand its virtues. Our traffic has doubled since last January, and the old site would never have stood up.

We have set up our own name servers. They are now answering name resolutions of few websites from ns1.carvingit.com (master) and ns2.carvingit.com (slave). A mini-hosting service has thus started! We now develop, host and maintain websites.

We have taken up the maintenance of www.amoddandage.in. Shri Amod Dandage is a well know Tabla artist.

Now, artists can make event announcements by logging into artists-india.com. Recently, a new Drupal driven website was launched. Some more features will be added soon. Users can also maintain their own profile page now.

Shopping cart and paypal integration on CircusDreams.net. The shopping cart is session-based and pops up in a JQuery pop-up. Upon successful completion of payment, an email of payment information along with a couple custom html variables is sent from an IPN (Instant payment notification) handler script.

Configuring server to send and receive with postfix was interesting. Following was involved.
* Installation and configuration of Postfix, Dovecot and SASL and their dependencies
* Writing shell scripts for adding new email addresses for Virtual hosts
* Dealing with "Relay access denied" was finally fixed after a lot of internet search and configuration updates. It was a learning experience.

With GIT,
* you can create/merge branches easily. Branching is a very powerful feature of GIT.
* patches can be created and applied easily.
* developers can have their own local branches!
